Ukraine introduces a system of personalized charitable donations for pensioners
A system of personalized charitable donations for pensioners has been introduced in Ukraine. Now every citizen can make a targeted contribution in favor of a specific pensioner, regardless of the type, size, and timing of the appointment of their pension.
This was reported on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Thus, pension experts were asked if it is possible to make a charitable contribution for a pensioner who receives a pension for length of service. The response stated that a person receiving a pension (regardless of its type, size, and timing of appointment) can receive a personalized charitable pension donation.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine noted that the fund allocation mechanism provides that 70% of the donation amount is directed directly to the chosen pensioner, and 30% is used as a general financial resource for paying pensions to all pensioners in the country. This system ensures both targeted assistance and support for the pension system as a whole.
The process of making a charitable donation is maximally simplified. The benefactor does not need to fill out documents or visit state institutions. It is enough to use the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine at Importantly, no authorization or entry of personal data of the donor is required for making the payment.
A large-scale pension reform in Ukraine implies an increase in the pension amount
Earlier we reported that a large-scale pension reform is being prepared in Ukraine, which provides for the introduction of pensions amounting to 60% of the salary.
