Passed away the former coach of Dynamo.


On Sunday, June 8, former selector and coach of the children's and youth sports school of Kyiv's 'Dynamo' Ivan Terletsky passed away at the age of 89. This information was disclosed by former goalkeeper of the capital club Sviatoslav Syrota.
«Ivan Ivanovich was not just a coach - he was a Teacher with a capital letter. It was he who opened the door to big football for many boys, instilling in them the main thing: not only the technique of the game but also humanity, character, dignity ... Rest in peace, Ivan Ivanovich. Thank you for everything», - wrote Syrota.
Ivan Terletsky was born in Kyiv and began his career in football. In 1956-1957 he played for Kyiv's 'Dynamo', usually for the reserve team.
The Path of a Coach
After finishing his playing career, Terletsky moved to coaching. He led several teams, such as 'Shakhtar' from Krasnyi Luch, Vinnytsia 'Lokomotiv', and Chernivtsi 'Bukovyna'. Ivan Ivanovich also worked with Kyiv's 'Niva' and Kryvyi Rih's 'Kryvbas'.
Later, Terletsky returned to 'Dynamo', where he engaged in selection work, discovering talents both in Ukraine and abroad. His contribution to the development of the club was immense, and his students always remembered him as a teacher and wise mentor.
Ivan Terletsky, the former selector and coach of Kyiv's 'Dynamo', passed away at the age of 89. Syrota, a former goalkeeper of the team, noted him as a teacher who opened the way to big football for many boys, not only teaching them to play but also shaping them as people with character and dignity.
