The Minister of Defense attended the NB8 meeting in Denmark, where defense ministers from nine countries gathered, including Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Each of these countries presented their plans for further support for Ukraine.

Sweden is preparing a new military aid package, including improvements to air defense. Delivery is scheduled for this year.

Norway is allocating 7.8 billion euros by 2025 to assist Ukraine. These funds can be used to strengthen naval and air defense forces. Additionally, Norway supports the training of military personnel within the 'Nordic-Baltic Brigade' and invests in the Ukrainian defense industry.

Lithuania is working on improving air defense, investing in the defense industry, and supporting the 'Czech Initiative'. Artillery shells are a priority.

Latvia is focusing on equipping our units, supplying shells, and cooperating in the defense industry.

Iceland is investing in the Ukrainian defense industry under the 'Danish Model' and helping train the 'Nordic-Baltic Brigade'.

Finland is working on supplying artillery shells and preparing a new aid package.

Estonia is preparing new shell supplies and is ready to join the training of the 'Nordic-Baltic Brigade'.

Denmark is considering additional investments in the Ukrainian defense industry.

'The Nordic and Baltic countries remain our most devoted allies. They not only provide military assistance but also actively support the development of our defense industry,' emphasized Umierov.
