According to UATV: On July 20, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a special meeting of the Staff (Stavka) to address urgent arms and equipment supplies for the country's military. The session included commanders of the Air Assault Forces and the 10th, 11th, and 19th Army Corps, with the main focus on practical issues such as ammunition and gear required to sustain Ukrainian troops in ongoing combat conditions. This meeting comes as Ukraine continues to face intense fighting along multiple front lines.

Supply and Support: A Critical Priority

Zelenskyy stressed the need to resolve issues tied to real battlefield demands, supply delays, and unresolved procurement problems. He emphasized that Ukraine requires all types of drones and long-range artillery shells, which are vital across every sector of heavy combat.

'Most of the questions are absolutely practical — concerning real combat needs, delays in supplies, unresolved procurement issues, necessary additional funding, and delivery contracts' — Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Additionally, the president announced a follow-up meeting with other corps commanders set for July 21, 2023, signaling further steps in organizing and coordinating Ukraine's military efforts. Just a day earlier, on July 19, 2023, Zelenskyy had already met with Joint Forces Commander Mykhailo Drapatyi, highlighting ongoing efforts to find solutions for equipping Ukrainian forces.

He also noted that 'Ukraine must enter August as strong as possible and prepare for various scenarios of Russia's behavior in the fall.' Wrapping up his address, Zelenskyy thanked all those aiding Ukraine, as well as every soldier and unit defending the nation: 'Thank you to every warrior, every unit that holds our positions and destroys Russian forces. Glory to Ukraine!'
