According to The Sun: Restaurants Pizza Hut and Prezzo have launched new promotions to attract more customers.

Pizza Hut introduced a new flatbread pizza for just £5, aiming to offer an attractive deal.

This move comes amid the launch of Prezzo's new menu for 99p.

Starting from Monday, September 29, the restaurant invites visitors to try two new Christmas dishes and a drink for just 99p.

Among the new offerings is a Christmas carbonara, a traditional Italian dish with festive ingredients such as roasted turkey, sausage stuffing, and blanket-wrapped pork.

There will also be a Christmas pizza with turkey, brie, stuffing, and blanket-wrapped pork on the menu.

Customers are encouraged to share their experiences about the dishes, which will help Prezzo improve its Christmas menu.

The full launch of the new menu is planned for November 11, 2025.

The new flat pizza from Pizza Hut is part of the Crafted Flattz collection.

New flavors include Pesto Veggie and Chicken Fajita, which can be ordered through the Pizza Hut app or enjoyed in the restaurant.

Options for three types of cheese and double peppering are also available.

This new range will be available from Monday to Thursday.

Restaurants Lower Prices

Italian chains are not the only ones trying to offer great prices.

Earlier this week, German Doner Kebab launched its new Fiver menu.

All dishes cost £5, and the company aims to make its cuisine more accessible while maintaining a high level of service.

Popular pasta restaurant Coco Di Mama is also offering pastas for £5 at all its London branches.

Consumers Face Difficulties

Food inflation has led to price increases at many restaurants across the country.

The UK is experiencing one of the highest inflation rates among developed economies, with rising food prices being a major issue.

Retail leaders have warned that food price inflation might remain above 5% until next year if stores face higher costs in the upcoming budget.

This means fewer people are dining out, preferring to save money and cook at home.

Therefore, large restaurant chains are implementing promotions to entice customers despite challenging economic circumstances. The President of Prezzo and representatives of Pizza Hut hope their new offerings will appeal to consumers during this tough time.
