Olympic champion Rylov may receive neutral status
Yevgen Rylov, who has been an Olympic swimming champion twice, stated that he is likely to receive neutral status for participation in international competitions. Previously, he was present at a propaganda rally in Moscow and supported Putin and the war against Ukraine.
In one of the posts on Instagram, Rylov also wrote that he supports Putin and mourns the Russian losses in the war. In another post, he speaks about his support for the president and that he does not regret his decision to support aggression.
Cancellation of 'Russian Heritage Night'
The NHL club 'Columbus' canceled the propaganda event 'Russian Heritage Night' due to protests from Ukrainians. The cancellation is related to protests from Ukrainian organizations in the state of Ohio. The event organizers refunded the tickets to the fans. Legendary goalkeeper Dominik Hasek also commented on the cancellation of the event and emphasized its importance.
