Gas Meter Readings - Why You May Be Asked for a Photo of the Meter.
Ukrainians regularly submit their gas meter readings, but sometimes they may receive inflated bills due to errors in the data. To avoid overpayments, it is advisable to promptly contact the supplier with a photo of the meter and a short request for verification.
In Ukraine, every consumer is obliged to pay not only for the gas consumed but also for the transportation of the fuel, even if it is not used. Many citizens have contracts with Naftogaz and pay for gas at a fixed price per cubic meter.
Reporting gas usage in Ukraine is an important component for every consumer. However, in case of receiving inflated bills due to errors in the meter readings, it is essential to respond immediately and provide accurate data by sending a photo of the meter to the supplier for further correction of the payment amount in favor of the client.
