Russia Lacks the Military Strength to Attack NATO, Says Political Analyst Denysenko.
Assessing the Military Threat from Russia
According to Espreso.tv: Vadym Denysenko, a political analyst and director of the analytical center Business Capital, has stated that Russia is not prepared to launch an attack on NATO countries, specifically Poland, the Baltic states, or Finland. According to the expert, as of now, Russia does not possess sufficient military resources or capabilities for such an offensive. Denysenko rules out the possibility of Russian military aggression toward Poland and Finland.
He noted that the likelihood of an attack on Latvia or Estonia is also low.
“As of now, I do not believe that he (Putin) will start a war against one of the NATO countries,”Denysenko emphasized. He also pointed out that
“he currently lacks both the strength and the means to do so.”
Current Situation Analysis
The expert highlights that even localized Russian actions against NATO countries would not resolve the war in Ukraine.
“Occupying Narva will not solve the war in Ukraine,”Vadym Denysenko concluded. Thus, his assessment indicates that there is no real threat from Russia toward NATO countries in the near future.
Denysenko's findings underscore the importance of monitoring Russia's military capabilities and strategic intentions in the context of European security. Currently, amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, the situation remains tense, but the expert points out that there are no direct threats to NATO countries. This could influence political decisions by Western allies regarding support for Ukraine and the strengthening of their own defense capabilities.
