Over 900 Attacks in One Day Target Zaporizhzhia: Three Civilians Wounded and Widespread Destruction.
Assaults on the Zaporizhzhia Region
According to Novyny.live: In the past 24 hours, Russian occupying forces have launched more than 900 strikes against the Zaporizhzhia region, wounding three civilians and causing extensive damage to infrastructure. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, confirmed that 903 attacks hit 48 settlements across the area. This surge in violence highlights the ongoing threat to civilian safety in southeastern Ukraine.
Among the enemy assaults were:
- two missiles;
- 16 airstrikes;
- 652 drone attacks;
- 231 artillery bombardments.
These actions inflicted severe harm on Zaporizhzhia. Artillery shelling alone generated 116 reports of destruction. In the city of Zaporizhzhia, critical residential infrastructure suffered heavily: one out of every three apartment buildings sustained damage. The total number of damaged private homes exceeded 3,500. For instance, on June 30, 2023, a guided bomb attack on a residential area killed one person and wounded nine others.
