According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has announced that military personnel injured during the conflict can receive new prosthetics and rehabilitation aids for free.
Procedure for obtaining prosthetics
To take advantage of this opportunity, it is necessary to obtain a medical report and choose a company that will adapt the prosthetic according to the needs of the serviceman.
The department explained that first, it is necessary to obtain a medical report from specialists, conduct an examination, and resolve the issue of disability.
If you already have the relevant document, no additional procedures are needed.
Filling out the application
After that, you need to fill out an application for obtaining a prosthetic, which can be submitted online or in person at the local department of the Social Protection Fund for persons with disabilities.
After that, you will be directed to the company for selecting a prosthetic. You will need to provide copies of documents confirming the need for prosthetics.
Obtaining a sports prosthetic
Obtaining a sports prosthetic has become significantly easier - it is enough to follow the same procedure as for other rehabilitation aids provided by the state.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has streamlined the process of obtaining necessary prosthetics and rehabilitation aids for injured participants in combat operations. Now, veterans only need to go through certain steps and choose the appropriate device. This can significantly help them return to an active life after the trials they faced on the front lines.
