Increase in the number of Ukrainian refugees in Germany
According to inkorr.com: Germany has recorded a significant increase in Ukrainian refugees seeking protection. According to the publication 'Welt', in recent weeks, the number of Ukrainians arriving in the country has increased tenfold.
A representative of the German Ministry of the Interior noted to the Funke Mediengruppe:
“The flow of such people has increased from about 100 to 1000 people per week.”The summer period was marked by a substantial increase in the number of Ukrainians arriving in Germany. According to the agency, in May, about 8,000 Ukrainians went through the 'Free' distribution system, in August – over 11,000, and in September – nearly 19,000.
Upon arriving in Germany, Ukrainians receive a residence permit under Article 24 of the Residence Act, which provides the opportunity to work and receive social assistance.
According to 'Welt', the number of Ukrainian refugees in Germany continues to grow, indicating active migration processes from Ukraine. Ukrainians arriving in Germany have the right to reside under Article 24 of the Residence Act, which differs from the usual asylum request, and also opens up opportunities for employment and social support.
The increase in the number of Ukrainian refugees in Germany indicates the continuation of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and the intensification of migration processes related to the war. Refugees, receiving status and support, have the opportunity to adapt to new living conditions and find work, which can significantly ease their situation and make their stay in Germany more comfortable.
