Later, Iraola was seen at a match of the youth team 'Merley FC', where he also officiated.

The 43-year-old coach, earning around £30,000 a week, does not belong to the luxurious type.

At the match, he appeared happy, confirming the positive emotions of the players representing the so-called 'non-profit club'. This event was characterized by them as 'an incredible morning'.

Success on the coaching bench

Locals have already taken a liking to Iraola in the two-plus years he has been working with Bournemouth. His reputation as a coach is continuously rising on the south coast.

The recent victory over Fulham, in which Antoine Semenyo scored two goals and Justin Kluivert one, helped the team secure fourth place in the Premier League table.

The team is gradually improving its results under Iraola's guidance: 12th place in his first season, ninth last year.

Despite losing three first-team players this summer, Iraola managed to set the team up for success.

His support for girls' amateur football only confirms that he has earned a good reputation and trust.

Kluivert told Sky Sports after the victory on Friday: “Iraola is incredible.

“If you also mention the players who left the team, how we are performing now is just incredible.

“I always say that the driver of the bus is the coach, and he is taking us on a crazy ride. Amazing driver, and we follow him. We love it, and it shows in the table.”
