Border Guards Eliminate 360 Invaders and Over 1,800 Drones in a Single Week.
Weekly Report on Border Guard Operations
According to Novyny.live: In the past seven days, Ukrainian border guards have neutralized 360 Russian soldiers, destroyed more than 1,800 enemy drones, and taken out a wide range of other military hardware. Additionally, 400 occupiers were wounded, and four were captured alive.
Destroyed Equipment Breakdown
The list of destroyed assets includes:
- 2 tanks
- 4 armored vehicles
- 2 self-propelled artillery systems (SPG)
- 3 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 4 missile system carriers
- 7 engineering vehicles
- over 440 trucks and cars
- 28 artillery pieces
- 2 mortars
- 260 communication and video surveillance devices
- 4 radar stations
- 47 electronic warfare systems
Among the downed drones were 140 Shahed and Gerbera types. During this period, Russia struck 15 Ukrainian regions, deploying approximately 1,400 guided bombs, nearly 1,500 cluster munitions, and 19 missiles of various types. This data highlights the scale of attacks faced by the country.
“The situation at the borders and checkpoints,” said Andriy Demchenko, commenting on the military landscape.
The high rate of destruction of Russian personnel and equipment reflects the intense activity of Ukrainian border guards within the current war context. The growing use of drones by both Ukraine and Russia underscores the pivotal role of unmanned technologies in modern conflicts. Frontline conditions remain tense, as both sides continue to expand their capabilities, pointing to a prolonged escalation of hostilities.
