Suburban buses of Kyiv and Kyiv region introduced a new payment system.
Residents of Kyiv and Kyiv region are increasingly paying for suburban transport trips cashlessly.
This is reported by the press service of PrivatBank.
At the beginning of the year, PrivatBank and Visa launched this opportunity in the suburban route buses of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
And today, payment smartphones from PrivatBank and Visa are already installed in 50 suburban route buses, where passengers have paid almost 17,000 tickets using the smartphone and the 'Terminal' app.
This is a simple solution to implement and is open to all Ukrainian carriers.
The 'Terminal' app for Android and iOS is developed based on Visa Tap to Phone technology. This technology allows accepting cashless payments from a smartphone without additional equipment, such as POS terminals or card readers.
Representatives of PrivatBank and Visa state that this opportunity is available for all Ukrainian carriers and aims to enhance the convenience of trip payments for suburban transport passengers.
Let us remind you, earlier PrivatBank launched a special service for Ukrainians abroad.
