Air Strike Threat Looms Over Kherson Region
According to Novyny.live: Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, has issued a warning about the heightened risk of Russian aerial assaults, particularly targeting the Stanislav community. He urged residents to stay extremely vigilant and heed air raid sirens, stressing that ignoring danger alerts could be deadly. Prokudin stated:
'We have received intelligence that Russian occupiers plan to launch aviation attacks on the Kherson region today. The Stanislav community faces an elevated threat.' - Oleksandr Prokudin
Regional Situation
The city of Kherson is already under drone attacks, which have damaged eight multi-story buildings and 13 private homes. Five civilians have been injured as a result of the shelling. On June 27, Russian forces struck a residential area with a drone, causing significant destruction. Additionally, on June 25, a medical facility was hit by a drone, wounding five staff members.
On June 16, Russian troops attacked a municipal workers' team and a passenger minibus, killing one person and injuring six others. The villages and settlements that have recorded enemy strikes include:
