The minimum subsistence level will rise from 2026: how much pensions will increase.
According to inkorr.com: Starting from January 2026, the minimum subsistence level in Ukraine will increase for the first time in two years. The average figure will be 3,209 hryvnias per person compared to the current 2,920 hryvnias.
New sizes by categories
- Children up to 6 years old: 2817 UAH (was 2563 UAH)
- Children aged 6 to 18 years: 3512 UAH (was 3196 UAH)
- Working citizens: 3328 UAH (was 3028 UAH)
- Persons who have lost their capacity to work: 2595 UAH (was 2361 UAH)
Minimum pension
Due to the increase in the minimum subsistence level, the minimum pension will increase by 234 hryvnias and will amount to 2595 hryvnias. Also, in March 2026, traditional pension indexing is expected to take into account inflation.
Pensions for disability
The government allocated a record 1.27 trillion hryvnias for pension provision, which is 123.4 billion more than in 2025. This will allow for a revision of disability payment amounts.
New coefficients for disability acquired as a result of war:
- Group I: 100% of the pension by age
- Group II: 80%
- Group III: 60%
