Russia will enter negotiations under three conditions: expert names the reasons.
According to ТСН: Russia is ready for negotiations only under three conditions: a feeling of strong external pressure, military failures, and serious economic problems within the country.
This opinion was expressed by Russian opposition political scientist Ivan Preobrazhensky in an interview.
Necessary factors for starting negotiations
Escalation of pressure — both sanctions and military.
Failures on the front: halting Russia's offensive actions.
Internal problems: serious difficulties in the economy and recruitment of mercenaries.
“There are micro chances, I don’t know, about 2-3 percent, that Russia will sit down at the negotiating table and at least imitate negotiations for some time. The chances of being realized in pure form, like a peace agreement that the parties will sign and cease fire, are absent for this plan,”noted the political scientist.
Recently, the Euro Council also revealed points that were excluded from the American plan regarding Ukraine. This may indicate changes in international approaches to resolving the conflict, and the situation will remain tense until new signals of willingness to dialogue from Russia appear. The Ukrainian side and its international partners will closely monitor developments to adequately respond to new challenges.
