Advisor to the Bank did not hold back when asked to pay in cash.
Mylovanov spoke about the scandal with the hotel in Uman
Former Minister of Economy and President of the 'Kyiv School of Economics' Tymofiy Mylovanov became involved in a scandal at a hotel in the city of Uman due to the demand for payment in cash. He believes that this indicates the hotel’s tax evasion, which negatively impacts the country.
Mylovanov was also outraged by the ineffective spending of the collected taxes, which, in his opinion, further weakens the state.
Earlier, a dispute arose related to Mylovanov's name. MP Nina Yuzhanina accused Mylovanov of clients automatically making charitable donations to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine when using postal delivery services, which go to the 'Kyiv School of Economics' fund, of which Mylovanov is the founder and head. Yuzhanina demanded an investigation into the legality of these actions.
In response, the General Director of 'Ukrpost' Ihor Smiliansky stated that all funds received by the foundation through 'Ukrpost' and KSE Foundation had been verified by auditors and law enforcement agencies and transferred to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of over 67 million hryvnias.
