Fedorov: The Rocket Program is a Priority Right Now

Mikhail Fedorov, the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development, stated that the rocket program is the main and top priority task at the moment.

We are actively working in this direction. Last year Brave1 issued the first grants for rockets. We cannot disclose details, but we are already working on our own rockets and have the first results, 'he noted in a column for RBC-Ukraine.

According to the minister, more than 19 companies are currently involved in the development of Ukrainian rockets.

What’s next? Even more grants, more tests, more rockets of all types. There will be aviation and portable surface-to-air missiles. And most importantly: these missiles will mercilessly strike enemy targets that remain out of reach for drones and will protect our skies, 'Fedorov wrote.

The minister also announced the simplification of the production process for ammunition for drones into projectiles of all types, increasing the margin for manufacturers to 25%.

This has allowed manufacturers to earn and reinvest in development and scaling. Currently, more than 40 manufacturers are involved in the production of ammunition. There are already over 170 types of ammunition on the market, and over the year, more than 2.5 million Ukrainian munitions have been produced and supplied to the Security and Defense Forces, 'Fedorov explained.

The minister announced the development of the explosives and gunpowder market; the development of specialized munitions and warheads, such as rockets, KABs, special small arms ammunition, warheads for deep strikes, artillery rounds, as well as the creation of controlled minefields with Ukrainian munitions and UAVs.
