According to UATV: A devastating missile strike on Kyiv on July 6, 2023, carried out by Russian forces, left nine people dead and over 40 others injured. Among the wounded were five children, underscoring the severe human toll of the assault. The attack caused extensive damage, particularly in the Podilskyi district, where a two-story residential building was hit. Floors from the fifth to the ninth were destroyed in that structure.

Emergency responders rescued 28 individuals from the upper levels and evacuated 17 others to fresh air. In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell on the fourth floor of a 25-story building. A fire broke out across apartments covering 150 square meters in another 25-story residential tower.
