According to Novyny.live: A heavy nighttime bombardment by Russian forces struck Kyiv on July 6, 2023, leaving 11 people dead and 46 others injured. Authorities confirmed that all 11 fatalities were civilians, with one of the wounded later succumbing to their injuries in intensive care.
The assault wounded 46 individuals, 27 of whom were hospitalized in city medical facilities. Among those receiving treatment are three children. Damage from the strikes was reported across four districts of Kyiv:
- Podilskyi
- Darnytskyi
- Obolonskyi
- Holosiivskyi
The Podilskyi district experienced the worst destruction, with private homes, businesses, and other civilian infrastructure suffering significant damage.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated: 'Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and people may still be trapped under the rubble. Emergency centers have been set up to provide assistance to all those affected.'
The situation remains critical, with emergency crews working tirelessly at the scene to aid everyone in need.
