According to The Sun: The son of legendary MMA fighter Rampage Jackson was arrested following a brutal attack on wrestler Psycho Stu, leaving him unconscious and bloodied in the ring.

25-year-old Raji Jackson was taken into custody by Los Angeles police early Thursday morning, with booking occurring around 2 PM.

He has been charged with a felony and is currently being held on bail set at $50,000, according to TMZ.

Incident at wrestling show

The incident occurred in August during the KnockX Pro Wrestling event in California.

Raji stormed into the ring, knocked Stu to the ground, and landed roughly two dozen blows while he remained unconscious.

The attack lasted 10-11 seconds and only ended when other wrestlers pulled Raji away.

Psycho Stu's family reported that he was urgently hospitalized with multiple injuries.

His injuries included a broken upper jaw, a cut on his upper lip, and jaw injuries that resulted in the loss of several teeth.

Stu spent several days in the hospital before being discharged.

The family noted:

“He has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but he maintains a positive attitude despite everything he has gone through.”

It is known that a dispute arose between Psycho Stu and Raji prior to the attack.

Father's statement

Rampage Jackson is not defending his son, reports the New York Post.

He told journalist Ariel Helwani:

“He has embarrassed my name.”

“I know he is my son. I am not cutting him off from me forever, but I just haven't talked to him. I spoke with him after this happened, and he hid what he did.”

“I just can't talk to him right now.”

The UFC legend also added that his son should face consequences.

He called for “some time” in jail, emphasizing that the punishment should include community service, anger management, and therapy.

Los Angeles police conducted an investigation into the assault prior to the arrest.
