Real Madrid wants to sign Harry Kane: why Bayern is powerless to stop the transfer

According to The Sun: REAL MADRID intends to persist in its efforts to sign Harry Kane, while Bayern seems powerless in this situation.

The Spanish club is actively trying to lure the England captain to them, just two seasons after his record transfer to Bayern for 104 million pounds.

Earlier this week, Bayern admitted they cannot stop Kane if he wants to leave next season.

Kane's contract includes a release clause that allows him to leave the club for 54 million pounds at the end of the season if he notifies the club before the winter transfer window closes.

This clause has sparked discussions about a potential return to the Premier League, where Kane has unfinished business, as he aims to break Alan Shearer's record for most goals.

He currently needs 47 goals, and some find it strange why he left Tottenham when he could have stayed and broken this record. Michael Owen recently stated that he still doesn't understand why Kane moved to Germany.

Tottenham Hotspur may consider the possibility of bringing Kane back — the club where he spent 19 years.

After the departure of the club's chairman Daniel Levy, with whom Kane had a complicated relationship, the new board might be open to a re-signing.

Kane has shown excellent form at Bayern, scoring 13 goals in seven matches this season, including two hat-tricks.

Bayern hopes that Kane will continue to enjoy the Bundesliga, but the growing interest from the Premier League and Real Madrid could complicate matters. Bayern's sporting director Maximilian Eberl commented on Kane's future situation.

“He is old enough to make his own decisions. Whether there is a clause or not depends on him. If he says: 'I want to make a decision', then he will make it, as he showed at Tottenham. But of course, we want to have great success with Harry this season and in the future.”

Bild, citing Foot Mercato, states that Real is actively monitoring Kane and could make an offer next summer, even as they currently build their team around Kylian Mbappe.

Kane, with 74 goals for the England national team, has scored 98 goals in 103 matches for the German club.

The 32-year-old England captain has clearly expressed his desire to win trophies, and considering that Real is pursuing new Champions League victories, his appeal may prove too strong.

His desire to win trophies and successful performances at Bayern are attracting interest not only from Real Madrid but also from Tottenham, from whom he departed at the beginning of this season. The question of whether Kane will return to England remains open and depends on his decisions and desires.
