Ukraine among European leaders in poverty levels: what the ranking shows.
According to inkorr.com: The poverty level in Ukraine remains extremely high, which does not meet European standards. In particular, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania rank among the countries with the greatest financial difficulties, where about a third of the population faces problems related to low wages and limited social support.

Greece and Spain are also experiencing serious economic difficulties: more than a quarter of their population suffers from financial problems caused by the economic crisis. This is compounded by a high level of youth unemployment, which complicates the situation for the younger generation.
Ranking of countries by poverty level
Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania lead the list of countries with the highest poverty levels. Following them are Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, and Italy. In contrast, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and the Netherlands have shown the best results in combating poverty, thanks to effective strategies that combine high incomes and social programs.
Deterioration of conditions in Ukraine
According to World Bank data, over the past two years, the number of poor Ukrainians has nearly doubled, from 20% to 37%. This figure indicates a significant deterioration in the situation, despite the increase in employment. A quarter of the population is forced to save on food, which is a significant increase compared to previous years.
Ukrainians, along with citizens of Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania, need to seek ways to address the issue of poverty to improve the quality of life and the economic situation in the country.
In the context of rising poverty levels in Ukraine, it is important to pay attention to effective solutions being implemented in other countries. Strategies that have been successful in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and the Netherlands can serve as examples for Ukrainian reforms that will help lift Ukrainian society out of crisis. Cooperation between states and active search for new solutions can be an effective step in the fight against poverty.Read also
