Trust Ratings in Ukraine During Wartime

According to Espreso.tv: During an appearance on Espreso TV's program 'Teper Holovne', Andriy Smoliy analyzed trust ratings in Ukraine amid the ongoing war, highlighting that conventional political figures receive lower levels of public confidence. According to him, Ukrainians place significant trust in those associated with national defense.

High Confidence in Military Leaders

Valeriy Zaluzhnyi enjoys the highest trust rating among Ukrainians, exceeding 70%. Additionally, Kyrylo Budanov holds a trust rating of over 60%. Data released on June 10 shows that both current and former defense officials currently command the highest trust levels in the country.

Andriy Smoliy noted that 'people fully understand that Ukraine is in a state of war.'

He also emphasized that 'these ratings have remained stable for roughly the last 2-3-4 years,' indicating sustained confidence in military leaders during a prolonged crisis.

These trust figures for political figures in Ukraine reveal that, during wartime, citizens tend to favor representatives from defense institutions, reflecting their desire for stability and security.

This trend of trust in military leaders could play a crucial role in shaping Ukraine's future political landscape. With security concerns taking priority during the war, support for defense figures may influence political decisions and elections in the country. Sustained high trust in the military might also impact the formulation of security and defense policies in Ukraine.
