Renovation of the Odessa-Reni road starts in Odesa region: why the budget increased by 12 million UAH.

The capital repair of the Odessa-Reni road will take place in the Odesa region. This project was approved back in 2021, but it was only possible to implement it now. The cost of the works has increased to 196 million UAH, which is 12 million more than previously planned.

The tender for the repair of a section of the road with a total length of 10.5 km was announced by the Service for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in the Odesa region. The cost of the project will amount to almost 196 million UAH including VAT, the deadline for submitting proposals ends on August 15, and the auction is scheduled for August 18, 2025.

What the project includes

The capital repair involves milling the old pavement, laying new asphalt layers, equipping the shoulders, as well as possible drainage if needed. The tender conditions also concern the availability of certain specialized equipment, such as graders, asphalt pavers, bulldozers, and rollers.

Required conditions for the participant

The contractor wishing to participate in the tender must have their own or access to an asphalt concrete plant and a road laboratory, and the team must consist of experienced specialists: engineers, surveyors, operators, road workers, etc.
