Throughout the day, Russian forces heavily attacked the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the deaths of three people and 13 injuries.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedоров, on Thursday, August 7, via Telegram.
Consequences of the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia region
According to the head of the OVA, 3 people have died and 13 have been injured as a result of enemy attacks in the Zaporizhzhia and Vasylivka districts.
Over the course of the day, Russian occupiers struck 723 times across 12 populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian troops carried out 5 airstrikes in various districts.
In addition, 556 drones attacked various settlements and cities. There were also 159 artillery strikes recorded in different territories.
Currently, 23 cases of destruction of buildings, communication networks, and vehicles have been recorded.
It is worth noting that on Wednesday morning, August 6, powerful explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia region during an air raid alert. That night, August 7, explosions were also heard in Kharkiv, where an air raid alert was announced.
