Why Trump Can’t Negotiate: Rybachuk Warns of Escalating Iran-US Tensions.
Oleh Rybachuk Weighs In on International Affairs
According to Espreso.tv: Oleh Rybachuk, a Ukrainian politician and former Vice Prime Minister for European Integration in 2005, has sounded the alarm over rising hostilities between Iran and the United States. As head of the NGO 'Center for Joint Actions,' he also took aim at Donald Trump’s stance on Ukraine and the Russia-Ukraine war. Rybachuk described the current situation surrounding Iran as highly volatile, specifically pointing to Tehran’s demand that $24 billion in frozen assets be released before any ceasefire agreement can move forward.
Trump’s Approach Under Fire
Reacting to recent statements by Donald Trump, Rybachuk accused the former U.S. president of parroting the same unfounded claims.
“Trump keeps repeating like a parrot that negotiations are nearly complete and that Iran is completely crushed,” Rybachuk said.He went on to criticize Trump’s lack of tangible results as a negotiator, noting:
“There isn’t a single instance where Trump, acting as a negotiator or mediator, has achieved lasting peace,” Rybachuk added.
These comments underscore a deepening rift in international relations, one that could reshape the global political landscape. The growing friction between Iran and the U.S. carries potential repercussions far beyond the Middle East, including for Europe and Ukraine. At the same time, Rybachuk’s critique highlights the broader challenges Washington faces in foreign policy, particularly when it comes to credible peacemaking and conflict resolution.
