Funeral Plans for Ricky Hatton

According to The Sun: Details of the funeral of former world boxing champion Ricky Hatton, who unfortunately passed away, have been revealed. His lifeless body was discovered by his friend and representative Paul Speak at his residence in Manchester on September 14.

Unfortunately, his death occurred just a few months before his planned return to the ring in a fight against Eisa Al Dah, scheduled for Dubai in December.

After the tragic event, many people expressed their condolences.

At the family's request, details of the funeral have been made public.

The day of mourning is set for Friday, October 10, at 12 PM at Manchester Cathedral.

The route of the funeral procession will soon be announced so that all who wish can pay their last respects to the legend.

Entry to Manchester Cathedral for the funeral will be by invitation only.

Memories and a Call to Remembrance

Ricky won 45 out of 48 fights during his brilliant career and was a strong advocate for mental health among boxers, bravely sharing his own experiences after retiring in 2012.

He left behind three children: Campbell Hatton, Millie Hatton, and Fern Grace Hatton.

“We are all shocked by the events of the past few days. As far as we know, despite his well-documented struggles, Richard was in good spirits.
“He was looking forward to the future; his bag was packed for the trip to Dubai to promote the fight, and he was planning a celebration in Dubai where his beloved girls Millie and Fern were set to be the center of attention.
“He was excited that they would see his fight in person for the first time.”
