According to The Sun: The son of boxing legend Ricky Hatton, Campbell, could not hold back tears when Manchester City honored his father's memory.
Ricky Hatton, a renowned boxer and devoted Manchester City fan, passed away on September 14 at the age of 46.

City honored Ricky on the weekend after his death before their 3-0 victory over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.
The boxer's memory was honored with a banner behind the goals that read 'Human Champion', alongside a mural of Hatton.
Flowers were also placed at the spot where Hatton always sat, where his family was present at the match against Burnley.
Campbell, Ricky's son, was seen crying during the emotional tribute.
City manager Pep Guardiola expressed his condolences, stating that the news of Hatton's death deeply affected him.
“For everyone in the Man City family, this was a difficult awakening. It’s not just about the successes; it’s about a great loss for his family, children, as he was also a grandfather.”
“We wish his family comfort during these hard times. This is a great loss for the boxing world and for us.”
City legend Vincent Kompany, who was friends with Hatton, wrote online: “We will miss you, Ricky. Our thoughts are with the family and friends. Rest in peace, legend.”
Micah Richards added: “This news shocked me. Ricky was a true icon. He was always among the people.”
City player Phil Foden also visited Hatton's family with flowers.
A Word About Hatton
Ricky Hatton won world titles in the super lightweight and welterweight divisions, defeating one of the best boxers, Kostya Tszyu, in 2005.
Despite his successes, he went through tough times after losses to Floyd Mayweather in 2007 and Manny Pacquiao in 2009.
Hatton returned to the ring in 2012 but ended his career after a loss to Vyacheslav Senchenko.
After retiring, he became a trainer and manager, earning fans' affection with his humor and kind heart.
Ricky is survived by his son Campbell, two daughters Millie and Firn, and granddaughter Laila.
According to his family's wishes, information about Hatton’s funeral has already been made public.
A day of mourning, scheduled for Friday, October 10, will take place at 12:00 at Manchester Cathedral.
