The last day of the International Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine has concluded in Rome, where the scale of destruction in the country's cities and the need for funding were discussed. The mayors of Kharkiv and Odessa presented impressive numbers: in Kharkiv, 12 thousand buildings have been destroyed or damaged, of which 8.5 thousand are residential, and at least 10 billion euros are needed for restoration. In Odessa, there are reports of hundreds of damaged architectural monuments and thousands of destroyed apartments, which are constantly changing due to new shelling.During the conference, signals for strengthening defense technologies were also heard, in particular, Ukrainian interceptor drones are already being used to protect the skies, but support from Europe and the USA is needed for the widespread implementation of new technologies. It also became known that Donald Trump's special representative Keith Kellogg plans to visit Ukraine on July 14, which may coincide with new attacks from Russia. As part of the conference, a meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing' took place, the first meeting of this coalition since its establishment in February 2025, with representatives from the USA also participating. Kellogg's possible visit and the statement about the war in Ukraine introduce new notes of tension into the situation.
