According to The Sun: Saudi Arabia has announced planned events for Riyadh Season 2025, including WWE and darts.

This sports celebration in the Middle East starts this week and will continue until the beginning of next year. As part of these events, the country will host the Royal Rumble for the first time – a landmark WWE event that marks an important milestone in the sports history of the region.

Saudi Arabia also plans to host Wrestlemania in 2027, highlighting the country's ambitions in international sports.

In early January, the Saudi Arabia Darts Masters will take place – the first professional darts tournament in the country, which will be an important event for local fans of this sport.

The head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, presented these plans at a press conference on Sunday.

“I want to try something 'crazy' with darts”

Although the details of this idea remain unknown.

Other planned events include a snooker championship in Riyadh, as well as tennis and boxing tournaments.

One of the key events of the season will be the Six Kings Slam, featuring stars such as Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz.

Players are guaranteed to receive £1.1 million for participation, and the winner will receive an impressive £4.5 million.

The boxing program Ring IV will include fights featuring David Benavidez against Anthony Yarde and Bryan Norman Jr. against Devin Haney.

The opening of the Riyadh Season 2025 will take place on October 10 on the City Boulevard.

Throughout the season, 15 global championships, as well as 34 exhibitions and festivals, are planned.

Turki Alalshikh estimated the branding of the season at £2.4 billion.
