Planned Frosts in Ukraine: Which Regions Will Be Affected First.
Unexpected Cold in Ukraine: Weather Forecast
According to inkorr.com: Forecaster Natalya Didenko reported that there are significant temperature fluctuations in Ukraine. In one region, a cold atmospheric front prevails, while in another – warm and sunny weather. For example, in Lviv, the temperature is +10 degrees, while in Luhansk it reaches +28 degrees.
According to forecasts, on Thursday the atmospheric front will move south across the country, bringing short rains and winds. At the same time, on September 26, sunny and dry, but cold weather is expected across Ukraine. Rain may occur in the southwestern, central, and eastern regions, while the northern areas will remain dry.
'But right now we are more interested in the night air temperature. Although a curfew is in place in Ukraine and nothing can be done at night, flowers, leaves on trees, and most importantly – vegetables, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, what else? – they can freeze. Because in the coming night in the west and north, ground frosts are likely, and in the night hours of September 26-27, frosts will spread to the center and east,'warned the forecaster.
In Kyiv, cold weather is also expected with night temperatures ranging from +3 to +6 degrees, which may lead to ground frosts in the outskirts of the city. During the day, the temperature will rise to +12 to +15 degrees.
'After a period of cold, warmer days will come. For now, it's important to take care of your health, cover the harvest, and prepare for weather changes,' – emphasized Natalya Didenko.
The weather conditions in Ukraine are changing rapidly: after cold days, a short-term cold snap is expected, but later forecasters predict warming. It is worth being prepared for sharp temperature fluctuations and taking measures to protect the harvest from possible frosts.
