According to The Sun: Rosco Hamilton's trainer, Kirstin MacMillan, shared news about Lewis's pet's health. Recently, Ferrari informed that Rosco had a cardiac arrest due to a relapse of pneumonia.

Doctors managed to restore Rosco's heart, but he is currently in a coma. When Hamilton has to leave his pet during races, trainer MacMillan takes care of him.

Giving an update for fans, the American wrote on Instagram:

“The amount of love and energy for Rosco is simply amazing. I apologize for consciously deciding not to respond to DMs at this moment. I'm focused on Rosco's health and recovery.'

She also emphasized that problems arise unexpectedly, which is a difficult time for them:

“Life brings challenges. This issue was unexpected and we felt it suddenly. I know you all have experienced tough times in your life as well.'

“You already know that Rosco is getting a lot of care and everything should go well. I know many of you are praying for Rosco. I am also praying for him.”

Rosco, a popular dog with 1.3 million followers on Instagram, was without Lewis, who had left the Pirelli tire test in Italy to be close to his friend.

Posting a picture of Rosco, the seven-time world champion wrote:

“Please keep Rosco in your thoughts. I want you all to stay updated. Rosco has fallen ill again with pneumonia and is having trouble breathing.”

Hamilton noted that the dog's heart stopped during treatment:

“They managed to restore his heartbeat, and now he is in a coma.”

Lewis, worried about Rosco's condition, added:

“We don’t know if he will wake up. Tomorrow we will try to wake him up. I am beside him and want to thank everyone for your prayers and support.”

Lewis Hamilton is preparing for a return to the racetrack at the next Grand Prix in Singapore. He is currently in sixth place in the F1 standings.
