Russia attacked energy facilities in six regions: what is known about the consequences.
According to inkorr.com: In the night from August 26 to 27, Russia again launched a massive terrorist attack on civilian facilities in Ukraine. The occupiers struck drones at the energy and gas transmission infrastructure in six regions, including Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. This information was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the Ministry of Energy.
At about one o'clock in the night, drones damaged equipment at one of the vital substations in Sumy, leaving a significant part of the city and industrial consumers without electricity. In Poltava region, the enemy specifically targeted gas transmission infrastructure facilities, causing serious damage.
“We consider Russian attacks as a continuation of the deliberate policy of the Russian Federation to destroy the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine ahead of the heating season. This is another act of energy terror aimed at the peaceful population,” the statement says.
On the night of August 27, Russian troops conducted a massive drone attack on Sumy, resulting in damage to infrastructure. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
It was also reported that at night, the enemy massively attacked Poltava region, resulting in damage to an enterprise in the energy sector.
