According to UATV: On March 26, 2023, Russia launched an assault on the Odesa region, targeting port and energy facilities. In the city of Izmail, one person was injured as a result of the strike. Meanwhile, explosions were reported in the Dnipro region, but no civilian casualties were recorded there.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, confirmed an attack on an infrastructure site within the region. The strikes occurred in the Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities, where witnesses reported hearing blasts. In the Synelnykove district, a private residence was destroyed by fire following an explosion, though no injuries were reported in that incident.
Kharkiv Under Fire and Broader Threats
In Kharkiv, a Russian strike resulted in one fatality and left eight others wounded. These events highlight the ongoing assaults on both infrastructure and civilians across Ukraine, raising alarm among local residents and authorities alike.
The increasing frequency of attacks on Ukrainian regions underscores the persistent danger posed by Russia. Targeting civilian infrastructure, especially energy systems, endangers lives and safety while complicating efforts to meet basic needs.
