Russian Military Attacks on Ukraine: June 3, 2023
According to UATV: On June 3, 2023, Russian forces carried out fresh attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions, including Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. In Zaporizhzhia, a gas station was struck, sparking a fire, though no casualties were reported there. Across the broader Zaporizhzhia region, occupiers launched 948 strikes on 41 settlements, resulting in one death and three injuries. Local authorities recorded 119 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, and vehicles.
Kherson and Other Areas Under Fire
In Kherson, drone and artillery attacks killed one woman and wounded five others. The assaults were not limited to these areas; in Dnipropetrovsk region, over 15 attacks hit three districts, damaging an agricultural enterprise, a store, a private home, and infrastructure—though no injuries were reported.
These events follow a pattern of sustained aggression. On June 2, Russia also struck Kyiv and more than ten other regions, including Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi oblasts. The ongoing assaults highlight the continued intensity of hostilities across Ukraine.
The relentless attacks on civilian infrastructure underscore that the conflict remains in an active phase, despite international efforts toward peace talks. The rising frequency of strikes poses a growing threat to public safety and regional stability. As the situation evolves, monitoring developments and global responses to Russia's continued aggression remains critical.
