Zelensky warned of a new massive strike by the Russian Federation: the goal is to exhaust the air defense system.

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed concern about the possible massive attack by Russia on Ukrainian cities.

This information was shared during his evening video address.

The head of state emphasized that the main goal of the enemy is to overload the Ukrainian air defense system.

«There is intelligence information: the Russians are preparing a new massive strike. Drones to exhaust the air defense system and missiles. They want to take advantage of the cold. This strike may happen in the coming days,» said the head of state.

It should be noted that on the night of January 9, Russia launched 242 drones, 22 cruise missiles, and 13 ballistic missiles, targeting energy facilities and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. As a result of this attack, four people died.

Highlighting the threat from Russia, the president emphasizes the need to strengthen the air defense system. The situation remains tense, and residents of Ukraine must be ready for new challenges in wartime conditions. According to information, the situation with the energy infrastructure requires special attention, as the latest attacks have already led to human casualties and significant problems with energy supply.
