Russia prepares for an offensive in Zaporizhzhia: how the enemy's tactics have changed.
Preparation of Russian troops for an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction
According to inkorr.com: Enemy forces are actively preparing for offensive actions. Dmytro Pelykh, head of the communication department of the 118th separate mechanized brigade, noted that Russian troops are concentrating their reserves and conducting reconnaissance at the front lines.
According to Pelykh, enemy drones have started to attack Ukrainian positions more frequently, indicating a likely increase in the enemy's actions in the near future.
'Recently, three of their 'bukhankas' were destroyed in this way. The number of military vehicles is constantly decreasing. Once, during mechanized assaults, you could see three tanks in one column, but now only one.'
Pelykh also noted that Russian troops have reduced their artillery capabilities compared to last year. These changes in tactics indicate that Ukrainian forces are successfully destroying enemy heavy equipment, forcing the occupiers to seek new methods of combat.
Thus, the preparation for the offensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction is characterized by a concentration of Russian troops, a reduction in the number of equipment, and an increase in the activity of drone usage. Ukrainian troops are adequately responding to threats, forcing the enemy to adapt to new combat conditions.
The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction remains tense, and the military activity promises further changes in the tactics of both sides. Ukrainian forces continue to work on improving their strategies in response to the enemy's actions, which will, in turn, affect the development of the conflict in the region.
