Russia tries to undermine EU and NATO unity with hybrid methods — Pistorius.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that his country is ready to be the main force deterring Russia's aggression in Europe. He made this statement during his speech to the Lithuanian parliament in Vilnius.

He also confirmed Germany's plans to deploy a full-fledged brigade in Lithuania by 2027.

"For Russia, Ukraine — is just the beginning. Russia attempts to undermine our unity, the European Union, and NATO through hybrid methods. The true enemy of Putin is our free, independent, and democratic way of life. Thus, Germany feels its responsibility as the central logistical hub in Europe, ensuring that troops can quickly move from the Atlantic to the eastern flank if needed", — said Boris Pistorius.
