The US House of Representatives voted to extend military aid to Ukraine. The majority of congressmen expressed support - 353.
House member Don Bacon announced this news on social media on Saturday, July 19.
Thus, 353 representatives voted 'in favor', while only 76 opposed. This bipartisan confirmation may help the HR4016 aid bill for Ukraine pass through the Senate.
The cost of the bill in the Senate may be amended, adopted, or rejected. If the Senate approves the document, it will be sent to US President Donald Trump for signing.
It is worth noting that recently Donald Trump confirmed that Ukraine will receive the Patriot missile system from the USA. There is also consideration of transferring long-range JASSM missiles to the Ukrainian military.
