Activation of Russian troops on the border of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions
The border zone between Kharkiv and Donetsk regions is witnessing an increase in attacks by Russian troops on Ukrainian positions, accompanied by mass mining. This was reported by Vladislav Korobko, the commander of the FPV unit of the drone battalion of the 3rd OShBr, during a telethon 'Unified News'.According to him, the strategic aim of the occupiers is to push Ukrainian units back to the line of the Oskil and Siverskyi Donets rivers. At the same time, the pace of the enemy's advance remains minimal - the Russians suffer enormous losses, losing one company after another for the sake of capturing even a single position.Despite this, the number of attacks from the enemy is increasing. Russian troops are actively using FPV drones and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, seeking to reach Sviatohirsk and seize control of the important route Izyum – Kharkiv – Kramatorsk – Sloviansk.
Situation in the rear
The situation in the rear is becoming increasingly tense as the enemy actively uses remote mining and 'waiting' drones.'Remote mining is becoming increasingly sophisticated in terms of camouflage - it is a real art. What seems to be a branch may turn out to be a mine, and an ordinary pebble may be an anti-personnel munition. Our recent losses of equipment are precisely due to remote mines. Detecting well-camouflaged munitions is extremely difficult. They are placed not only on roads and can be triggered remotely, for instance, in response to a change in the magnetic field,' explained Korobko.Such tactics by the enemy pose serious challenges for the Ukrainian military, requiring constant attention and improvement of defense methods.Constant provocations by Russian troops at the border between the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions pose a serious threat to Ukrainian security. Monitoring the enemy requires heightened defense measures and prompt responses to possible dangers to prevent successful attacks by the enemy and ensure the protection of the territory.
