128 combat clashes per day: how the Russian army is trying to break through the defense on three fronts.
Combat actions on the Lyman front
Since the beginning of the day and until 22:00, there have been 128 military clashes on the front. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, most of the battles have been recorded on the Lyman, Pokrovsk, and Novopavlivka fronts.
'At night, the enemy tries to bring reinforcements, to bypass us and accumulate forces, while during the day they launch assaults. Therefore, we have to conduct not only defensive battles but also strike-search operations to destroy their accumulations. At the same time, while the assaults are ongoing, the enemy tries to bring in new forces. For this reason, one assault can occur in several such attacks, it can even be a dozen assault attacks during one offensive,' said soldier Vasyl Denysiuk from the 66th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave.
On the Lyman front and the Severetsk sector of the front, Russian troops were conducting assault actions. On the Pokrovsk front, combat clashes were also recorded in areas around different populated localities.
'The enemy has chosen a systematic tactic for conducting attacks on strategic directions — Pokrovsk, Lyman, Novopavlivka, and partly in the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions. Right now, there is active work underway, but it is very indicative that we have driven all the troops out of the direction of Dobropillia — Kostiantynivka. Currently, fire means can reach Dobropillia and Kostiantynivka, but there are no enemy troops or other means there,' commented the situation on the front by the General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (2005-2010) Mykola Malomuzh.
Additionally, Ukrainian military brigades are successfully conducting operations and inflicting damage on Russian troops. Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 920 Russian occupiers and inflicted significant losses on the Russian army. On our side, a tank, a quad bike, artillery systems, and other military equipment have been successfully destroyed.
During active combat actions on the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces demonstrated a high level of combat readiness, successfully repelling attacks and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Despite the enemy's attempts to launch assaults during the day and night, the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allowed them to keep the situation under control, destroying the enemy's accumulations of forces and means.Read also
