Russia plans to produce 30% more artillery shells than the EU
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha warned that Russia could increase artillery shell production by 30% in 2025 if appropriate measures are not taken.
«According to Ukrainian intelligence, next year, if there is no appropriate response or prevention, Russia will be able to produce 30% more artillery shells than all the European Union countries combined», – assured Sybiha.
According to him, strategies must be worked on and such production prevented already now. The minister especially noted the shadow fleet, which helps Russia circumvent sanctions and trade in energy resources and oil.
«Therefore, it is very important that further strengthening of the sanctions policy of the European Union, our partners, also focuses on this aspect», – emphasized Sybiha.
Ukraine expects help from Europe and the administration of the new US President Donald Trump in achieving peace on the territory of Ukraine, not just in returning the occupied territories.
