The Ukrainian cities of Sumy and Odesa have once again fallen victim to attacks by Russia.

According to local authorities, in the evening of November 17, a nine-story residential building in Sumy was hit during a missile attack, resulting in the deaths of 11 people, including two children. Additionally, 89 individuals were injured, including 11 children.

The acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported: 'Russian terrorists carried out a missile attack on the city of Sumy. There are casualties and wounded. Civil infrastructure has been damaged, including residential buildings.'

It was also reported that Russian forces conducted a missile strike on civil infrastructure in Odesa, with one of the high-rise buildings sustaining damage.

The head of the Odesa regional state administration, Oleg Kiper, stated: 'Russian terrorists carried out a missile strike on the city of Odesa. There are casualties and wounded. Civil infrastructure has been damaged, including residential buildings.'

As a result of the attack in Odesa, 8 people died, and 18 were injured, one of whom is a child. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that these incidents are not accidental but rather indicative actions by Russia, reflecting its aggressive intentions. He urged the international community to respond to this signal and do everything possible to assist Ukraine.
