Attack on Nikopol
According to Novyny.live: Russian forces struck the city of Nikopol around midnight, damaging a residential building and a gas pipeline. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, reported infrastructure disruptions as a result of the attack. This assault is part of a wider pattern of targeting civilian areas in southern Ukraine.
Drone Strike on Chervonohryhorivka Community
Separately, a drone strike was recorded in the Chervonohryhorivka community, damaging an infrastructure site. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties.
- A private house and 11 residential buildings were completely destroyed.
- Three farm buildings and approximately 40 solar panels were damaged.
- Power lines and gas pipelines, which supply energy and gas to the area, were also hit.
These strikes are part of the ongoing conflict, which continues to severely impact civilian life in Ukraine. Damage to critical infrastructure like gas pipelines and power grids can lead to serious difficulties in supplying energy to the population, especially during winter. Local authorities are working to restore the damaged facilities, but the consequences of such attacks require an urgent response from state structures and humanitarian organizations.
