Russia's Missile Production Continues

According to UATV: Russia is still manufacturing new missiles for strikes against Ukraine, relying on foreign and Belarusian electronic components despite international sanctions. Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the Ukrainian president's point person on sanctions policy, has stated that modern technology—though subject to restrictions—continues to flow into Russia's military-industrial complex.

Examination of Missile Debris

An analysis of debris from 'Iskander-M' and 'Oreshnik' missiles was carried out near Bila Tserkva. The recovered components originated from several countries, including:

  • the United States
  • Taiwan
  • Switzerland
  • Japan
  • China
  • Belarus

Notably, some of these parts were manufactured in 2024 and 2025, indicating that technological supplies may still be reaching Russia despite existing sanctions.

In response, the European Union is considering a 21st sanctions package against Russia, reflecting ongoing monitoring and efforts to counter weapons production. If adopted, these measures could represent a significant step in addressing military threats.

The situation surrounding technology deliveries to Russia's military-industrial complex highlights the challenges international sanctions face. Even with restrictions in place, electronics shipments from other countries suggest that the sanctions regime requires further refinement and adaptation. The European Union's potential new sanctions could serve as a crucial tool to curb aggression and prevent further attacks on Ukraine.
