Stub: Russia Deliberately Presents Unacceptable Demands to Ukraine.
Russia will not dictate to Europe or the USA what to do regarding security guarantees for Ukraine
According to FREEДOM: The President of Finland, Alexander Stub, stated on Fox News that Russia will not dictate to Europe or the USA what actions to take regarding security guarantees for Ukraine. According to him, Moscow is deliberately making demands in the peace process that are impossible to accept. This is reported by FREEДOM.
Alexander Stub emphasized that it is very important for the American audience to understand what Russia's territorial claims against Ukraine entail.
'If you compare what Putin is demanding from Ukraine to the USA, it is somewhat like saying the USA gave away Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and even Maryland, forming a kind of super highway that easily attacks New York. This is why it is practically impossible. Putin knows this, but continues to demand it,' the President of Finland emphasized.
Previous discussions about ending this war in recent weeks have yielded more results than in the previous three and a half years. This was stated by the President of Finland during a meeting at the White House on August 18.
During the peace negotiations, Russia is deliberately trying to present unrealistic demands – this was stated by President Stub. He also emphasized the importance of understanding Russia's territorial claims against Ukraine in the eyes of the American public.
