Historian debunks myths of Russia: why Ukrainians and Russians are different peoples.
According to FREEДOM: For centuries, Russia has tried to enhance its greatness by humiliating its neighbors and distorting historical facts. For example, some myths claim that Lenin invented Ukraine, Khrushchev gifted Crimea, Catherine II founded Odessa, and that Ukrainians and Russians are one people. However, the historical truth is quite different from these manipulations.
During a broadcast on the FREEДОМ channel, historian and educator Vitaliy Drybnitsya dispelled Russian myths about Ukraine, emphasizing the discrepancies between these assertions and historical truth.
In his speech, Vitaliy urged everyone to recognize the threat posed by modern Russia and to unite efforts to protect themselves from potential aggression. It is important to understand who is nearby and to be ready to defend one's independence.
