Russia threatens Kharkiv and Zaporizhia with an energy crisis: what awaits Kyiv.
According to inkorr.com: Expert Viktor Kurtev expressed his dissatisfaction with Russia's strategy in the energy sector on the Left Bank of Ukraine, which may lead to the threat of 'freezing' large cities such as Kharkiv and Zaporizhia. He noted that this could result in a humanitarian disaster in industrial regions.
The situation in Kyiv
However, in Kyiv, where attacks on heating power plants have also been recorded, the situation is less critical. According to the expert, although there will be scheduled power outages, a complete blackout in the capital is not expected.
Currently, Kyiv residents will receive heat from water heating boilers, which will help compensate for the loss of electricity and avoid overheating of homes.
The situation with energy infrastructure in Ukraine leaves much to be desired, especially under constant attacks. It is important to monitor the developments and take measures to ensure stable heating supply in the country's cities to prevent a large-scale humanitarian crisis.
